This’d get him to stop lingering at the bottom of the front-door stoop and head on up into the house.
Yes, he was a proud guy.

And before we ever used “help” near our front stoop, Biscuit actually took “help” while hiking up onto a very tall rock on the Blue Hills’ Skyline Trail. 
The second time he heard “help,” before I said anything, he stood up on his hind legs and put his front paws on the toe-hold in the boulder. 
He remembered the spot and exactly how we got over it on the prior hike.

I had no idea of the significance “help” would have when he’d lost mobility.
