Biscuit always knew when we were pulling into the Petsmart parking lot:  he literally bounced off the windows inside the car.
In the store, vigilant as we may be, it was impossible to keep him from peeing at least once somewhere in the stores.

We’d virtually always let him pick out a boney. It had to be one that he really enjoyed smelling through its wrapper.
And if he was due for a toy, it had to be one he showed a real interest in.

Our favorite ritual was checkout. He couldn’t wait to get into the little opening behind the cashier – which got tricky if we had to wait in line for a while.
Once it was his turn, he’d give the cashier a vigorous high-ish five —
with his low Corgi reach. And, of course, he did his best to ‘work’ the cashier for a second Milkbone before we could veto it.
